Overview
The RILLHOLT RH-SD-004 is a tracked, self-propelled surface DTH rig for 90-152 mm blast holes, built for mine duty with a motor-and-chain feed that takes power straight from the drive for stable penetration. Drilling pipes are 3 m long, which cuts the number of rod changes per hole, and the articulated four-bar drill arm reaches horizontal, vertical and oblique holes. It runs 3.5, 4 and 5 inch hammers on 76 mm pipes with 2,400 Nm maximum rotation torque at 0-140 rpm and 20 kN pull-up force. Power is a Yuchai engine rated 73.5 kW at 2,200 rpm; weight is 7,200 kg.
